One of the more brilliant pieces of contemporary art we have come across recently is Caleb Larson’s part ponzi scheme, part new media interactive device ‘A Tool to Deceive and Slaughter’. The work, which consists of an 8" black cube and electronic components, continually sells itself on“eBay” under the agreement that the current owner only retains possession until the object has been purchased by the next highest bidder. Its a new way of understanding art as temporary.
Get it for yourself for a cool six thousand, the piece is currently up for auction right here.
